Event is Free to attend. Pre-Registration is required. No Walk-ins will be allowed on the day of. This is for Security reasons.
The event is designed for High School Students. Students in Middle School are also welcome to attend.
Please bring School ID or Government Issued ID on the day of the event. This is a requirement from the SAP Secruity Team.
Parents who would like to attend must be registered.
All Guests must arrive by 9:45 am so we can start the event on time.

Katherine Goyette
Computer Science Coordinator, California Department of Education
Katherine Goyette is the Computer Science Coordinator for California Department of Education.
She is an author, learner and educational leader who advocates for inclusive educational opportunities for all students within the communities they reside.
Katherine was primary writer for California’s inaugural Computer Science Standards and is the founding president of the California Central Valley chapter of the Computer Science Teacher Association.
She has been a keynote speaker, featured presenter, and panelist for organizations across the globe on a variety of educational topics.
In previous roles, Katherine was county office consultant, educational administrator, instructional coach, and classroom teacher.
She spends her free time writing, playing piano, and vacationing with her husband, son, daughter, and stepdaughters.

Dhruv Diddi
Senior ML Engineer, Turo
Dhruv is a machine learning engineer and AI expert with a passion for inspiring the next generation of tech innovators. He currently works at Turo, developing MLOps infrastructure for the world’s fastest growing car sharing platform.
Prior to joining Turo, Dhruv has gained extensive experience in developing cutting-edge Computer Vision algorithms in startups as well as tech giants in the Bay Area. His curiosity driven approach, persistence and ability to learn and grow through online projects, hackathons, and real-world applications has led to career highlights in top notch companies such as Google, YouTube, Etsy and NCSA. Dhruv pursued BSc in ECE at University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign which allowed him to develop fluency in both software and hardware technologies.
Among many coding competition awards, Dhruv is a proud recipient of Best Social Innovation Prize at UIUC Cozad for Accessible Electric Socket Design and Google’s Engineer’s Choice Award at Google CodeU for AR application development. He has also secured provisional patents in hardware design from these projects.
Outside his work life, you’ll find Dhruv prompting AI Art, writing tech blogs and competing in triathlons around California. Dhruv has volunteered with various organizations, consulting and mentoring on software engineering, to introduce organizations as well as students to the exciting possibilities of this rapidly evolving field.

Shilpi Agarwal
Founder and CEO, DataEthics4All Foundation
Shilpi Agarwal is a mission driven data philanthropist and a prominent early voice in the tech ethics and data privacy evolution. She is the Founder and CEO of DataEthics4All Foundation on a mission to raise the next generation of Ethics 1st Data and AI Champions.
She’s a technologist with an undergraduate degree in Computer Science from the National Institute of Technology and a graduate degree in Design from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, India.
Former Adjunct Faculty at Stanford, University of California at Berkeley, and MIT $100K Launch Mentor.
Shilpi is a proud recipient of the President’s Volunteer Service award, Women Leaders in Data and AI Award Finalist 2022, an invite only member at the World Economic Forum’s Responsible Use of Technology Initiative and an AI Ambassador for the Deeplearning.AI Community founded by Andrew Ng.

Pablo Roisman
Senior AI Product Manager at SAP
As an AI Product Manager, Pablo utilizes advanced Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence technologies such as Generative AI (GenAI), Foundational Models, and Large Language Models (LLMs).
He empowers SAP product teams by incorporating AI into their offerings to address customer challenges, collaborating and synergizing with multiple stakeholders such as Product Managers, Developers and cross-functional teams, across Engineering, Marketing, Infrastructure, Ethics, and Legal domains, while managing regulatory and policy issues.
He leverages his 16 years of experience in product and development roles for various SAP products, including Conversational AI, Cloud Platform, Business Rules, and Mobile that have given him a wealth of expertise that is so crucial at this pivotal point in time.

Shyamala Prayaga
Senior Software Product Manager, Conversational AI – Deep learning, NVIDIA
At NVIDIA, Shyamala is responsible for building the NeMo LLM Service interface that enables users to run inference and customize foundation LLMs and deploy them at scale leveraging the NVIDIA managed cloud API or through private and public clouds.
She is also responsible for building the BioNeMo (Biomolecular large language models) Service interface that enables 3D protein structure prediction, property prediction, and even generation of novel protein sequences and molecules.
Shyamala has worked on the roadmap to execution of a low-code platform called Custom Voice Recorder, which enables customization of speech AI technologies like Custom voices (TTS) creation with 30 mins of audio recording.

Debbani Kundu Naskar
Director of Engineering, Slack
Debbani is a Director of Engineering at Slack responsible for leading engineering teams for a newly launched product – Slack Canvas.
Previously, she led engineering teams at IBM and HPE and launched several Data and AI products.
Her passion lies in building great software using design thinking principles and in leading and mentoring teams. In her spare time,
Debbani enjoys teaching at InclusiveWorld, a non-profit organization, and is a PTSA board member at the local public school.
She also coaches middle and high school students in technology. Her hobbies include hiking and performing Indian dances.

Shubhangi Agrawal
Director of Software Engineering, Lyell Immunopharma
Shubhangi works as Director of Software Engineering at Lyell Immunopharma.
Prior to this role, she worked as a lead for Data Engineering and Data Science at Genentech in the Supply Chain Digital Transformation team.
She was responsible for handling and executing projects varying across data science, data engineering, and core architecture in various domains within supply chain in healthcare and biotechnology.
Currently, her focus is enabling digital transformation and building out a platform to enable advanced analytics, collaboration, and data mining within supply chain, especially considering the shift towards personalized healthcare.
She has worked in various medical companies in data science and analytics roles, working with data ranging from ERP to CRM systems. She has also worked as a Business & Technology Delivery Team lead in Accenture, where I was focused on technical issues and data integration on a healthcare insurance software system.
Shubhangi’s academics background consists of Masters and Bachelors in Bioengineering from UC Berkeley and University of Pennsylvania, respectively.
She also has a Bachelors of Economics from University of Pennsylvania, which helps her approach problems from a business and technical acumen.
Shubhangi is passionate about the intersection of healthcare and technology, especially leveraging AI/ML in the complex spectrum of biomedical and personalized healthcare data.
