Exciting News: STEAM in AI Graduate receives LinkedIn Possibilities in Tech $40K Scholarship
We’re so excited to share that our STEAM in AI Graduate, Marcell Gentles is a proud recipient of the LinkedIn Possibilities in Tech $40K Scholarship award.
This recognition not only highlights Marcell’s dedication and excellence in the field of STEAM and AI, but also serves as a testament to the exceptional guidance and recommendation provided by our esteemed STEAM in AI Mentor, Troy Kling.
LinkedIn’s Possibilities in Tech Scholarship embodies the mission ‘Dream big, get things done, and know how to have fun while you pursue your career aspirations in tech!’
The Possibilities in Tech Scholarship supports the big dreams of future talent from backgrounds who have been historically underrepresented in tech. Scholarship recipients will engage in four years of community building, college navigation support, and technical training focused on these four pillars of persistence: Sense of Belonging, Self-Advocacy and Getting Help, Readiness for Career in Technology, Financial Independence.
Recipients are awarded $40,000 over the duration of their college experience, $5,000 per semester (max 10,000 per year).
STEAM in AI thanks Troy for his unwavering guidance in Marcell’s STEAM in AI project that played a pivotal role in Marcell’s success, paving the way for this well-deserved accolade.
After High School, Marcell got into the Harvey Mudd College of Engineering and this Summer, he will be interning at Intuit as a software engineer. Marcell has a great future ahead and STEAM in AI wishes him all the very best!!
